Used the video at band camp. It was great and the kids responded well to it. If any others use it and have their drill custom made, take note of the terminology used on the video such as side 1, 2 home side hash, etc. Inform the students of differences as the video plays Directors should ask their drill writer to use the same terminology (It's an easy fix in Pyware). I am going to try to come up with a standard terminology to use every year so that my kids don't have to learn it differently each year.
ReplyDeleteThat is an excellent idea. Using standard terminology will help, and keeping it consistent year to year will too. I wasn't sure if the terminology I used is in any way standard, but it was how I had learned it... I hope it isn't too much different from what you were already using?
